Hans George Pfluger Immigrated to America, aboard the Ship Samuel, from Rotterdam, which landed in Philadelphia 17 Aug, 1731, with wife Eve and Two daughters Maria and Maria Katarina(may be relative Maria and daughter Maria Katarina).

From Emory Phlegar @ Phlegar@aol.com 12-4-99 He has church records that George Frederick "Pflieger"(Phluger was born Aug. 1735 and baptized on 10 th of Oct. 1735, in York, PA.
Henry wrote that the name Phlegar had not been accepted as one of the various spellings of the name Pfluger in 1762, and that not until the brothers, George and Jacob, moved to Floyd County, Virginia did the name change to Phlegar.
