In the 1933 Lynchburg City Directory page 149 lists Garland , wife Catherine V, occupation Mechanic-Evans Service Station and home address as 2038 Hughes Avenue, Lynchburg, Va.
Garland Evans Sr., died from complications of being hit by a car on Campbell Avenue, Lynchburg, Va. He died at McGuire V A Hospital, Richmond, Va.
