Notes for Willie Anderson Reynolds: Obit: Willie Anderson Reynolds Willie Anderson Reynolds, 79, of 501 Fleetwood Drive died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999 at his home. He was the husband of the late Virginia Wooldridge Reynolds. Born June 12, 1920 in Campbell County, he was a son of the late James Leonard Reynolds, Sr. and the late Nona Burnette Reynolds. He was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Keystone Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Reynolds and James Leonard Reynolds, Jr. Mr. Reynolds is survived by two sons, Vernon A. Reynolds of Lynchburg and Leonard E. Reynolds of Yuba City, Calif.; two daughters, Joan R. Butler and Patricia R. Wooldridge, both of Rustburg; one brother, Loxley Reynolds; three sisters, Margaret R. Moore, Dorothy R. Carwile, and Frances R. Keeler, all of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors by American Legion Post #16 will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Virginia Memorial Park, Forest by Dr. J. Monty Fox and the Rev. Roger Roller. The family will receive friends today from 3-5 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice. Whitten Timberlake Chapel is serving the Reynolds family. |
