15. ELLEN MARIAH3 MOSER (MARIAH LUCINDA2 RICHARDSON, JAMES1) was born 10 June 1856 in Mississippi, and died 1933 in Crawford Co, AR. She married .. HENSON Bef. 1887. He was born Bet. 1835 - 1850 in (a physician) b. Arkansas, and died Unknown.

Notes for
.. HENSON:
The Hensons lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Birdie Ellen Richardson told her daughter Cecil about visiting her aunt and her family. She spent a year there, and when she returned, her sister, Lucy, went to Little Rock for a year.

Vickie Clarke has sent census and other records showing that the Henson marriage is to Ellen Mariah, but which does not rule out an earlier marriage to Barbara Ann.

The US Census of 1930, which shows Ellen M. as head of household, a widow, living with sone Aubrey E., age 43.

1930 US Census
Crawford County, AR
Alma Township, District 1, 2 April
Page 1A (page 1) HH#7/7
Henson, Ellen M., head $1000, 73, widow, MS/TN/MS, none
Aubrey E., son, 43, single, AR/MS/MS, laborer, garden.

This seems to make it likely that Aubrey is the son of Ellen instead of Barbara Ann, because Barbara would be over 40 years old at the birth.

Whether Cecil Binford was confused about which sister Dr. Henson married remains to be seen.

Child of E
LLEN MOSER and .. HENSON is:
  i.   AUBREY E.4 HENSON, b. 12 October 1885; d. January 1970, Arkansas.

16. SUSAN FLORENCE3 MOSER (MARIAH LUCINDA2 RICHARDSON, JAMES1) was born 21 December 1857 in Tishomingo Co, MS, and died Unknown. She married .. SCHULL Unknown. He was born Bet. 1850 - 1860, and died Unknown.

Children of S
USAN MOSER and .. SCHULL are:
  i.   BLANCHE4 SCHULL, b. Bet. 1880 - 1885; d. Unknown.
  Notes for BLANCHE SCHULL:
According to Cecil Binford, Blanche Schull owned a chain of beauty shops in Memphis. She sold them and moved to Miami and opened up one beauty shop. She stayed only one year, then moved back to Memphis. She hated Florida. She described it, "Every creeping, crawling thing is in Florida." Cecil said she must have had adenoid trouble because she sort of talked "through her nose."

  ii.   DAISY SCHULL, b. Bet. 1881 - 1886; d. Unknown.
  Notes for DAISY SCHULL:
Cecil Binford wrote that Daisy was an R.N. and took only private nursing cases.

17. DAUGHTER3 MOSER (MARIAH LUCINDA2 RICHARDSON, JAMES1) was born Bet. 1858 - 1861 in (Elizabeth M. b. abt 1829 TN?), and died Unknown. She married SAMUEL CLEMENT JONES Unknown, son of GODFREY JONES and ANNA CLEMENT. He was born Abt. 1795 in Edgefield District, SC, and died Aft. June 1880 in in McNairy Co TN by 1850.

Notes for D
AUGHTER MOSER:
This marriage didn't seem so strange until I received information from Don Chandler that the husband was born about 1795. Any way I arrange it, "daughter" Moser seems far too young to be his wife.

All the census records seem to indicate that the Samuel's wife is about his age. However, the 1880 US Census records what appears to be a second wife -- Elizabeth M., age 51, which would make her born about 1829, born in Tennessee. None of the Moser children are old enough to be this Elizabeth.

The children cannot possibly be those of "Daughter Moser" so I have "assigned" another wife to Sam Jones (for now) until further information surfaces.

Notes for S
AMUEL CLEMENT JONES:
Sam Jones worked in the post office in Corinth. He and his sister, Octavia, were frequent visitors at the Richardson's house.

According to C. D. Richardson, it was probably with this uncle that William Fluker lived when his father died.

Sam Jones lived to be "ninety-odd" years old.

Don Chandler provides the middle name "Clement" where we had only the initial "C" before. He also provides two marriages: Rebecca ..; and Elizabeth M. ... He shows census records as follows:

It does occur to me that there is a possibilty that "Sam Jones and his sister Octavia" could be of the next generation. For now, I will leave things as they are, pending more information.

Child of D
AUGHTER MOSER and SAMUEL JONES is:
  i.   O. C.4 JONES, b. Abt. 1874, McNairy Co, TN; d. Unknown.
  Notes for O. C. JONES:
O. C. Jones is undoubtedly the child of "Elizabeth M." wife of Sam Jones in the 1880 US Census in McNairy County, Tennessee. But whether "Elizabeth" is "Daughter Moser" remains to be seen, because of the age problems mentioned in notes for Daughter Moser.
