The Barclays moved from Vista, California to Mansfield, New York, in about 1986 to start a large dairy farm with their son, Joseph, Jr. The senior Barclay died suddenly of a heart attack at his home.

He was survived by his wife, Evelyn, two sons, John and Joseph, and several grandchildren. Funeral services at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, NY at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 1989 by Rev. William C. Harkins. Internment was at Ellisburg Cemetery.

Notes for BONNIE NADINE BURDETTE:
Bonnie Burdette Beckham, in October 1988, lived at 261 S. Pershing, Wichita, Kansas 67218.

She was born and raised in Chautauqua County, Kansas, and was first married to Robert Paisley, who was killed in a navy plane crash during World War II. They had a daughter, Judy, who was 8 months old at the time. Later, Bonnie married Charles Beckham and had a son, Steve. She was divorced after a few years and Bonnie had been single for over 30 years in 1988.

Her work years were spent mostly in bookkeeping. She worked for Federal Civil Service, eight years of which was with the National Park Service in Yosemite Natinoal Park. She lived in government quarters in El Portal, California. She reports it was a grand place to work, especially when it was nearly deserted during the winter. She retired from there a few years ago and became interested in genealogy.
