Havana, IL - Robert Gale "Bud" Ground, 66, of Manito, IL died Thursday at his home. The Warren County native was a World War II veteran, a member of Spring Lake Sportsman's Club and Goofy Ridge Sportsman's Club. He was the son of the late Henry and Mary Wood Ground. Graveside service was Saturday at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, IL. Hurley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include several neices and nephews.

Buried at Emneth Cemetery: In loving memory of a dear husband and father Fred Norman who passed away 29th Sept 1952 aged 69 years. Also of his dear wife Sarah. Reunited on 25th July 1970 aged 89 years.

On 12 Nov 1903 when Fred was 21, he married Sarah SCOTT, daughter of John Bullen SCOTT & Rebecca BRUNDLE, in Hilgay, Norfolk. Born on 2 Jul 1881 in Ten Mile Bank. Sarah died in Emneth on 25 Jul 1970, she was 89. Buried in 1970 in Emneth. Sarah was baptized in Ten Mile Bank on 31 Jul 1881. Cause of death: Stomach Cancer?
