He married (1) MABEL P. MCALISTER 04 Sep 1971 in Coffeyville, Montgomery Co, KS. She was born Unknown, and died Aft. Jul 1989. He married (2) CHRISTA NIBLACK Private. She was born Private.

Lowell L. Kinnaman, 64, of 106 Beloit, Cedar Vale, died unexpectedly Thursday morning July 20, 1989, in the Cedar Vale Regional Hospital. Born Sept. 6, 1924 in Wauneta, he was the son of Ransom and Eva Geraldine Huffman Kinnaman.

Graduated from Sedan High School in 1943, moved to western Kansas where he farmed for a period. Served with the 17th Airborne Glider & Paratroopers in the U.S. Army Infantry until discharged in November 1945. Returned to Dodge City area where he farmed until 1968, then worked as a steamfitter in Missouri.

On September 4, 1971, married Mabel P. McAlister Hamill in Coffeyville. They lived in Cedar Vale in 1972, where Lowell worked as a rancher.

Member of Cedar Vale United Methodist Church, the Chautauqua Masonic Lodge No. 355, the Wichita Consistory, the Midian Shrine Temple, the Midian Temple Legion of Honor, the Cedar Vale Lions Club, the American Legion Kemp-Barnes Post 201, the Sedan VFW, and had served on the Cedar Vale City Council and was a member of the steamfitters local in Coffeyville.

Survived by wife, Mable, one stepson, Vance Hamill of Kansas City, Mo, one stepdaughter, Sandra Lee Fitzwwater of Stilwell, one brother, Gary Kinnaman of Grenola, two sisters, Joan Embree of Owasso, OK; and Jeannine Hensley of Salina. He was preceded in death by one son, Denny Kinnaman. Memorial services 20:00 Saturday, July 22 in the Cedar Vale United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Harrold officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola. Memorials established with American Heart Assn. and Cedar Vale United Methodist Church. Wheeler Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
