Notes for CHARLES BOYDSTUN: This Charles Boydston is thought to be the ancestor of "Bob" who provides some information on Curtis Willey through Carla Blanton. He says that his gg-grandfather, Charlie was born in IL in 1863 (Note that 1880 Census for Warren Co, IL lists Curtis Willey with a son age 16 born in IL). His gg-grandfather was a railroad conductor. (Curtis' son William and his son Edgar both worked for the railroad.) William (son of Curtis Willey) had a son, Edgar who was born in Galesburg, IL near Warren County, IL. "Bob" has a photo of his gg-grandfather that says, "Loomis 9 Main St. Galesburg, Ills." He has three photographs and each one show him and his family very well dressed (speculating that the family of a member of the Illinois Legislature would be somewhat prominent). "Bob's" gg-grandfather had one son named Warren Boydston. |
