He married BARBARA SCHAEFFER April 14, 1863, daughter of ANTON SCHAEFFER and SUSANNA BODEN. She was born March 01, 1843 in Trier, Germany, and died May 17, 1913 in St. Michaels, WI (Washington County).

Notes for JOSEPH THEUSCH:
He came from sturdy German parentage, being born in the "fatherland" At the age of eight he immigrated to America, settling with his folks in Wisconsin. In 1859 he settled on a farm in Scott, Sheboygan County, and on April 14, 1863 he was united in marriage, taking Miss Barbara Schaeffer as a life partner. This information was taken from his Obituary September 11, 1919. It's headline is St. Michaels Pioneer. Dead.
