Portions of the typewritten will of Clarence Forbes Norment (1856-1937), made 10 May 1917, filed 9 April 1937. I, Clarence F. Norment, of the City of Washington, District of Columbia, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament. ITEM II: I gave and bequeathe unto my wife, Lizzie Smith Norment, all my household furniture of every kind and description, books, pictures, jewelry, automobiles, horses and carriages, together with my personal belongings, for her sole and separate use absolutely. ITEM III: I give and bequeath unto my aunt, Margaret Anna Norment, or if she does not survive me, then unto her daughter, Anna Beall Norment, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3000). ITEM IV: I give and bequeath unto Thomas SHEA the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000), ITEM V: I give and bequeat unto Samuel R. BAULSIR the sum of One Thousand Dollars $1000) ITEM VI: I give and bequeath unto Mary GREENFIELD the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500). ITEM VII: I give and bequeath unto Andrew THOMAS the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500). ITEM VIII: As I have already given to my daughter, Ethel ALDEN, property to the value of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), I give and bequeath unto my cildren, Judith and Clarence, Jr., the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) each, the same to be paid to each of them in cash, immediately after my death, provided the said Judith shall then have attained the age of eighteen (18) years and the said Clarence, Jr., the age of twenty-one (21) years. ======= Witnesses: Barnum L.
