BEALL Lineage for Susanna Verlinda BEALL (1799-1875), wife of Ulysses WARD (1792-1868), as determined from primary records. The following transcribed documents revise and correct various lineages purported to be for Susan Verlinda BEALL, wife of Ulysses WARD. The basis of this lineage is the bequests from one generation to the next of the property "Godfathers Gift." This lineage is: Susanna Verlinda BEALL James & Mary BEALL (her surname has not been determined); James d 1821. James BEALL: d 1806, son of "Scott John BEALL" John BEALL: d 1767, called "Scott John BEALL" in the will of his son James (usually described as "Scotch John Beall") Robert BEALL (Robert is called "brother" in the will of Alexander, PG Co. 1:361) It is believed that Alexander is the child baptized of Alexander and Margaret (RAMSEY) BELL, in 1649, St. Andrew's parish, Fife, Scotland. The other children recorded were: William, 1646; James, 1652; and Andrew, 1655. It is assumed, therefore, that Robert, brother of Alexander, was born in the province of Maryland after 1655. Alexander, James and Andrew left wills in Prince George's Co., MD, but William did not (the one often ascribed to him is for William DEALE] Transcribed from copies of the originals by Diane Bender, exeline@erols.com, June 13, 2004.
