I started my family tree back in Sept. 2001. With the help of my mother who's family helped settle Florida Territory and fought during the civil war in the Cow Calvary. Our research started in Lee County. My mother's G.Grandfather from what we can tell lived on a Ranch"homestead" which is now know as Lehigh Acres, where her father was born..They later moved to Alva,where Frank I. Green Sr. met and married Mildred Ludy Harris, Hall who's family lived in Alva, were they bought land a started a citrus grove witch is still know as Green's Citrus Grove.
