I have just started researching my family ancestry; my family name is Bonar, and I was born in Scotland on 19th August 1945. My mother's maiden name was Thomson, she had a brother called Jim Thomson who emigrated to Canada sometime in the 1950s, he was married with two daughters. My sister Nancy married a Gerry Forehand, who was in the USAF at the time, in 1960 in France. They lived for a time in Albuquerque, New Mexico but have moved back to Virginia where Gerry's family come from, they have two children, David and Lori. David married a girl called Paige and now live in Texas, unfortunately I have no details about Lori. My wife's maiden name is Bennellick but we have no details of any of her ancestors. Any information relating to any of these families would be much appreciated.
