I couldn't help but notice that Mary Magdelene Bozeman's mother was
named Martha Josephine Reid. The LDS IGI lists the following Reed
family members who were apparently Shawnee indians. Maybe this is a
clue to your indian heritage.

Father: Boseman or Reed

Wm. Boseman b. abt. 1841 Shawnee Tribe, Kansas Territory, Kansas
Father: Boseman or Reed
