About Our Family Research

I have only been researching for a short time but would like to learn more about Louis Boyer. I believe he was born about 1858 and he married Exilda Campeau. In 1909, at Apple Hill the family contacted L.O. Armstrong, C.P.R. Colonization Agent, about coming to Algoma. The Boyers came to a 320 acre farm at Gordon Lake.

Their children were:
Florida Boyer married John Allinotte
Rose Boyer married Cote
Alexina Boyer married St. Jules
Cecile Boyer married Shaughnessy
Amelia Boyer married Hisgrove
Marie Boyer married McMillan
Marion Boyer married Perigord
William Boyer
Louis Boyer
Joseph Louis de Gouzaque Boyer married Honora Cecilia Reville (my Grandparents)
Euclid Boyer married Nelida Dubois

I am very interested in learning more about their ancestors and descendants. I do believe that some of them settled near Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. If you have any information please feel free to contact me.
Thank you.
