Shall graduated from Dixon Mills High School and served in WWII. He managed Bedsole Stores until J L Bedsole went out of the dry goods business and sold the Monroeville store to Shall.

Joe suffered a spinal cord injury while in high school which left him paralyzed from the neck down. He does beautiful paintings using his teeth to hold the brush. He particularly enjoys doing wild life.

He married FREDA WRIGHT⁵ February 02, 1940 in Wilcox Co., Al, daughter of JAMES WRIGHT and MITTIE SHEFFIELD. She was born December 03, 1919 in Pine Hill, Wilcox Co., Al.

Notes for HENRI BRADFORD:
died of heart attach caused from diabetes. Served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Deputy Sheriff of Marengo County for years and later as a guard for Gulf States Paper Company in Demopolis. He always farmed.

Elaine contracted meningitis at eight months of age which left her mentally retared. As Inez had 3 other children to look after they placed Elaine in an institution in Tuscaloosa at age 6. She was later moved to a group home in Mobile where her siblings visited her regularly. She died on June 10, 2001 and is buried next to her parents in Catholic Cemetery in Mobile.
