It appears Ransom was born in Caremont, NH and met his wife (Emily S. Ashley)
in Lowell Mass around 1839. They married in Lowell Mass and settled there for a
while. Three of their children were born in Lowell. They then moved to East
Sullivan, ME around 1845-1847 where his wife Emily was born (and died). Three
more childrenn were born to this couple while in East Sullivan. This is where
the first link with the Bunker line comes in (East Sullivan).
Ransom was a carpenter. He was in the Civil War.
