Notes for Jacob Bradbury: He lived in Biddeford, but moved to Limerick and was deacon of the church there. Moved from Salisbury to Biddeford in 1744 with his parents and then to Limerick. Jacob and Abigail had two other children (Bradbury Memorial # 287, 288) whose names are unknown. Born circa 1780-1781

From the book, "The Allens" pp. 89-90: "A family tradition is that he served in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. The information given below is from a statement made August 18, 1875 by his grandson, Daniel Bradbury (son of Amirheuhama), supplied us from her family records by Miss Emma Todd, of Amesbury, Mass.; and the Bradbury Memorial, p. 93 .... Some years prior to the Revoultionary War Jacob settled at Biddeford, Me. In 1777 Biddeford, with other coastal towns, was burned by the British. He then removed to Limerick, Me, then a comparative wilderness, where he lived, was a church deacon later, and died in 1801. Jacob Bradbury married Abigail Cole and had twenty children. He lost several children, whose names are unknown, before moving from Biddeford, and a girl, Olive, shortly thereafter..."
