Elder John Chipman (b. Abt. 1620, d. April 07, 1708)

John Chipman (son of Thomas Chipman and Darbye)^{779, 780, 781, 782} was born Abt. 1620 in England^{783, 784}, and died April 07, 1708 in Sandwich, MA^{785, 786, 787, 788}. He married Hope Howland on Abt. 1646 in Plymouth, MA^{789, 790, 791, 792}, daughter of John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley.

Tombstone in Sandwich says "Here Lyes Buried ye Body of Elder John Chipman aged 88 years died April 7, 1708". He is buried beside his second wife Ruth Sargent.
