I was born and raised in Kipling, Saskatchewan Canada. My mother
immigrated to Canada with her parents, a brother and 2 sisters
in about 1905. My father also immigrated to Canada with his
parents about the same time. Shortly after arriving my parents got married and settled just south of Kipling in a small Hungarian settlement called Bekevar. My parents and Grandparent are all deceased. I do believe that I still have family in Hungary,and I am anxious to find them. I know that 2 of my aunts remained in Hungary and married there. Aunt Julanna Balog married to Mr. Damyen and had two sons,Frank and Charley. These
two sons immigrated to Canada and died here. My Aunt Elzabth Balog married Mr. Nemeth, and they had three sons, Pesta, Alex and Louis. I do believe that I may have cousins and second cousins in Hungary. If I do I so want to visit Hungary and visit
the place where my family grew up.
