This page is the result of a lot of work and cooperation between my two cousins I discovered on the net. Of the three, I am the only one who knew almost none of my Brogdon relatives and the discovery was a happy one.
I now have two wonderful, progressive thinkers to help me put this stuff together for Brogdons everywhere--David Eisley and William Grenn Brogdon. Could not have asked to be related to better people!
We are researching Brogdon and related families. We are also looking into those lines with the Brogden spelling from whence it appears our own may have come. We believe our family probably came from Yorkshire to America in the early 1700s or even slightly before. We are searching for our immigrant and for contact with our worldwide family.
Here are some Brogdon/en named things we have discovered on our way: Brogden, West Riding, Yorkshire (now Lancaster) Brogden Lane, Barnoldswick, West Riding, Yorkshire (Lancaster) Brogden, North Carolina Brogdon, South Carolina Brogdon Street, Bryan, Texas Brogdon Hall, Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas
