1Robert Turk, b. about 1690, Antrim, Ulster, Ireland;
md. Margaret [?]; d. 1772. He came to Philadelphia first in about
1736 and proved legal entry in 1739. Thomas was first son. Robert bought
land in VA and Thomas later moved to SC. Margaret d. between 1765 and 1772.
He is said to have come to America with Margrot [Margaret?] wife:
