My maiden name is Polish Mazurkiewicz. Great Grandparents PATERNAL SIDE: Frank born about 1878 in Poland believe they were married in Poland per census he came over in 1906 by himself (guessing looking for work then had family come over); not sure if he came over from Ellis Island. The residence was in Brooklyn. He had at least one brother that stayed in Poland to take care of the family farm, not sure how many siblings he had. I was told that one grandparent lived in the North and one in the South- not sure which was which.
Mary (Adamski) Mazurkiewicz born about 1879-1880 in Poland and died in 1943 in Jamica Queens, NY. She came over from Poland in 1908 with their son Leo.(He was about 4 when came over). Do not know when they were married.

Ludwig and Marian (died young must of died in Poland not sure)
Leo married no children
Stanislaw born about 1909 died Dec 1944, married Apolonia (Kowalski) my grandparents 1 son Stanley (my father)
Frank born abot 1911 1 son
Edward about 1913
Walter born about 1914 married Catherine 3 daughters Fran, Patricia & Christine (twins)
John about 1919 1 daughter Carol
Irene about 1917 1 son moved to New Jersey when she married.
Anna about 1915 died 1973 husband was Adolph Rojna 2 daughters
My grandfather (Stanislaw) was born 10/31/09 died 12/7/44. He was baptized at Our Lady of Czestochowa in Brooklyn, NY
Great Grandparents MATERNAL SIDE: Anthony Kowalski born I think Poland or Russia in 1880. Died 5, August 1938. I think he came over in 1907 but not sure. I don't know much about him he died when my dad was about 4 years old.. He had a brother ADAM living with them per the 1920 census, he came over in 1912 And their mother is from Posen.
Josefa "Josephine" don't know her maiden name born 1886 in Poland. Died in 1963 in Brooklyn NY. where they met and married in Brooklyn

Apolonia "Pauline" in Oct 1910 Brooklyn died in 2004 Middletown, NY Married Stanley Mazurkiewicz had one son Stanley (my father)
Walter born June 1913 died in 1997 married Frances (died 1989) had 2 kids Theresa and Walter
Genevieve born 1916 died 1988 never married
Chester born Nov 1917 died 1994. Married Helen. Had 3 kids Joann (never married) Loretta and Edward.
Catherine born Dec 1919 died 1981 had son Tony. Then married Frank Schirripa born 1921 died 1985. Had Patricia and Michael
Stanley born Oct 1922 died 2000. Married Janice lived in Alburquerque, NM had 3 children Christine died 1954, Dianne and Douglas
Helen born 1925 and died 1967
SIDE NOTE: per the 1920 census they had a boarder Leon Gzybowski 28 years old. I am thinking he may have been a cousin.
