She LOVED Bingo.
Place of Burial: Rosewood Memorial Park (Kellum Funeral Home)
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINA
She had 12 pregancies
She also raised 3 foster children (Wanda Nicoson, Linda, and Russell)

I have in my notes from the TX trip with Winnie and Pamela that a J.V. Lane has daughters Patricia and Earlene. (This could be the Earlene that is in picture with Carol).

Her mother (Nora Ella Strange) died of TB when Francis was a very young girl. She went to live with her Aunt Annie(I think that is who she went to)

I remember mom telling me that she gave birth to a baby girl in TX. She said she was way out in the country with a cousin there was only a phone a couple miles away at the Bar. She told me that her cousion went to call the doctor and while waiting on him to arrive she had a few drinks. I guess the doctor had a few drinks also and mom had to deliver the baby herself. When the doctor arrived shae said was it okay to feed the baby (she waited for him because she did not know) The doctor told her it was fine and let mom feed baby. The baby choked to death in moms arms because the doctor failed to cleas the mucos out of the babys mouth. A brother or Uncle sued this doctor in court and he was no longer allowed to practice medicine. I asked mom where the baby is buried and she did not know what happened with the babys body.

Francis worked as a newspaper reporter for the Navy News when I was 5 she was still working for them. So about 1962. Try to get info from them.

Mom was supposed to have twins when Ronnie was born. The other twin dided and had to be scrapped out. I would like to see if I can get these medical records.
