I was born at village Thathawata, District Churu in Rajasthan on May 22, 1954. Village Thathawata is an old historical village founded by Thatha of Bhadia clan jat about 800 years back. Father Begaram Burdak is agriculturist and stationed at village Thathawata. Mother Barji Devi was a simple housewife who died in 1976.
I completed my primary education from village Thathawata in 1965. I did middle school from Rosawan in 1968 and Higher Secondary from Ratangarh in 1971. B.Sc. degree was completed in 1974 from Nawalgarh. I did my M.Sc. in Physics in 1976 from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Served as telecommunication engineer at Jaipur (1976-1979). Then qualified for Indian Forest Service (IFS) in 1980. Presently serving in the state of Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh I was posted as Divisional Forest Officer at district Bastar (1985-1988), Chhindwara (1988-1990), Damoh (1990-1993), Betul (1993-1994).
Promoted to Conservator of Forests in 1995 and served at Khandwa (1995-1996) and Shivpuri (1997-2000). I was Conservator of Forests at Bhopal from 2000-2004. Promoted to post of Chief Conservator of Forests in August 2004. I was Chief Conservator of Forests (HRD) from August 2004 to October 2005. From November 2005 to October 2007 I was Commissioner of Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation, Ban Sagar Project Rewa. I am now Chief Conservator of Forests at Bhopal.
My wife is Gomati Nehra from village Harsawa, District Sikar, Rajasthan. She is daughter of Hardev Singh Nehra, a freedom fighter and social worker.
I have got two daughters and one son. Elder daughter Sunita has completed MCA and serving as lecturer at Jaipur. She was married with Praveen Chaudhari on 16th November 2002. She has got two daughters Palak and Nishi. Younger daughter Vinita has completed MCA from Banasthali Vidyapith. She is now Software Engineer in HCL Co. Son Amit is doing B.Arch. from NIT Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. The hobbies: Gardening, Reading, writing, Social Service and Internet surfing. I am also writing articles on Indian History and Geography for Wikipedia-a free encyclopedia. I am Wiki Editor on Jatland.
