Stephen moved from Attelboro to Cheshire or Adams, MA, his family was all born in Cheshire; he served in The Revolutionary War as a soldier; he was in the battle near Bennington, VT, August 16, 1777; he served as deacon in the Elder Warden's church; he gave public exhortations.
