Thomas Masengale Tabor was the son of Jonathon Tabor and Elizabeth Hicks Tabor, b. July 18, 1812 - d. December 25, 1851. He is buried in the Jones Family Cemetery in the Upward area of Henderson Co., NC. Tombstone reads: Father Masengale Taber July 18, 1812 Dec. 25, 1851
