Obituary in the Clearwater Sun March 2, 1964: TARPON SPRINGS - Melvin L. Boyett, 63, of Anclote Road, died today at the home of his sister, Mrs. David Baillie Rt. 1, Tarpon Springs.

He was born in Tarpon Springs and was a lifelong resident here. He was a retired yard man.

He is survived by another sister, Mrs. Wallace Baillie and a brother, W.S. Boyett, bothe of Tarpon Springs.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at Vinson Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James E. Ulmer, minister of the First Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs. Burial will follow in Cycadia Cemetery.
