Photo#2: Home of Bob & Georgie(Farrow)Sears,at the very end of Upper Sackville,on Aboujagane Rd.--They still live in this house..Photo taken Aug,2000..Bob is Louise's brother..This house has stood here for over 100 years.. Photo#3: This SEARS house is almost 200 years old..No-one lives here now..----See the BEAUTIFUL rose-bushes..----some now bloom in my yard.... It was the home of Daniel Sears Sr. & Thankful Hicks ; then his son, Miles Sears; in turn his son , Obed Sears; and then William Wesley Sears & last was Beverley Earl Sears & Gladys Hicks... It is like 'walking into the past' when you enter the property ! ** MANY of our SEARS ancestors walked on this land..AND so did I... Photo was taken in 2000. __________________________________________________ The original land where Joseph & Hester(Wheaton)Sears lived,when they came to Sackville from NY state,in 1785.. is in Rockport area of Sackville Parish.
