About Our Family Research

Dedicated to my father,Clarence Caleb Babcock. You were
a Friend,as well as a Dad. I MISS YOU. I do know that
you are proud of me,now that the family has been found,
and that I keep in touch with everyone again,on both
sides of the family. You Believed in Family, and you were
unhappy that our family was divided. I wish we could
have done this together, as we had planned, and yet
somehow I know you were watching over me and helping me
to find all the answers.Everytime,I call or visit,a family
member, I know that you are smiling.I am very happy
to have found my mother,Elaine's missing cousins in NFLD.
Welcome Bill,Don,Daphne,Doreen,Elizabeth,Vera,and many
others to our family...I am so happy to have been Blessed
to find you , after all these many years.
Special Thanks go to my hubby,Gordon, who helped me a lot.
Without his Encouragement , none of this would have been
possible.. I LOVE YOU ...
With thanks to Grandma(Casford)for the love & discipline,
and Grandpa Hillier for the lessons of life, you taught to me.
I will always remember Grandma(Sears),when I see blueberries,
or African violets, and Grandpa Babcock, when I see harmonicas.
I think of you, dear Amos Babcock, when I see a rainbow.
And dearest Dorcas Bennett, his wife, you now have "Peace".
Rosebushes from Upper Sackville,N.B. bloom in my yard, every
year, as a fond reminder.I may not own things,of a monetary
value,but,Eliza Jane,my dear gr-grandmother McPhee,I do have
part of your broken mauve oil lamp, and that means more.
Thanks go to my sister,Sharon, who taught me what Forgiveness
is all about.. To my cousin,Peggy, who is always there, when I
need a friend."A little kindness goes a long way".
There are so many people who helped me, with my Family Trees..
They are too numerous to mention, but a special thanks goes to
Eldon Babcock-You were my'guiding light'.As for the others,You
all know who you are... Which ever way that you'touched my
life',I say THANKS*.
My beautiful Grand-daughter,Jessica-When I see you,
my day is brighter..My precious Grandsons,Cory,Benjamin,
Carter,& Donte - you bring me such Joy! In later years, you
will not have 'glitter and gold' from me, but you will smile
when you see your big Family Tree. Nannie doesn't go shopping.
Instead she is 'pulling up roots'to make your tree grow,--for
you,and future generations to come.Whenever I am gone from
this earth , and you hear chimes, think of me & remember how
much I love you all. Children will soon forget your
'PRESENTS', but they will always remember your 'PRESENCE'.
Always remember the GOLDEN RULE "Do unto others as you would
have them do unto you".. and may you always have an Angel by
your side.
My FAITH has carried me through many 'tests of Faith'.
The LORD is my guide... I forgot HIM for awhile, but HE never
forgot me. Thanks, LORD, for my LIFE...And last, but
definitely not least,I LOVE YOU,Michelle, Lisa,and Shane.
I Bless the days that I gave birth to you.
One thing you will hopefully always do is forgive,as I have
taught you. I also want to say thank you LORD,for bringing
Jenn and Donte into Shane's life.."Train up a child
in the way he should go,and when he is old,he will not depart
from it". (Proverbs 22:6)...
My ancestors never knew that I would look for them, nor that
I would care."GENEALOGY MIRROR"-Be Careful-Relatives may be
closer than you think.GENEALOGY is a Bridge, that connects us
together,as Tangled Roots.
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting
some kind of battle."
