I have been researching my family line for over ten years and have traced back to Francois COULON and Madeleine Pit (?Pitre) whose son Pierre was born about 1760 in Marseille, France. Pierre came to the New Orleans / Grand Isle, Louisiana area and married Therese Rigaud, whose parents Jacques RIGAUD and Marie DURAND had come from Bordeaux, France.
