I have been researching the Clay family for about a year. Some of the major surnames included in my research are Clay, Belcher, Cook, Bailey, Rorrer, Williams, Northam, Goad, Hilton, and Owens. There are more surnames but these are the main ones. My research includes my father and my mother's line as well as both line of my wife's. There are over 850 names in my files at this time and the number grows almost on a daily basis. Some of research is verifiable through census records, death and birth records, and cemetery records. Other parts of my research are based solely on other's research. Any errors found are purely accidental and will be changed with verifiable proof.
