My husband was Charles Wayne Brooks and his ancestors from Holland include Brooks, plus others were Smith, Carter, Cooper, Wise, Thornton, Hood and many others. He goes back to a John Smith born 1701 in Virginia.

My Carter/Cochran parent's ancestry include Bozeman, Fenn, Stone, Harrell, McClain, Moon, Miller, Parker, Coonfield, Young, Carpenter, Little, and many more.

This task is never completed and we have so much to learn about our families' adventures in this country.

I have posted hundreds of photos, documents and census records to preserve our research, offering much for other relatives to browse through.
