Benjamin and Rebecca Stover are in Violet Township in 1850.

Benjamin Stover married Rebecca Molen October 30, 1842. Recorded in Marriage Book #1, pg. 198. Baskins History of Delaware County says that Benjamin moved to Berlin Township in 1856 (apparently with George and his family) and lived there until he died. If this is fact, so far we have not located his grave or any proof that he in fact lived in Delaware County.

Mrs. Maria Rhoads, daughter of Benjamin and Barbara Green, was born June 5, 1838 and departed this life 5 a.m. July 22, 1924 aged 86 years, 1 month, 17 days. She is preceeded in death by both father and mother, one brother John, one half brother Andrew, two sisters, Catherine Ault and Rebecca Good, and one half sister, Elizabeth Stover. She was united in marriage May 4, 1862, to Benjamin Rhoads who passed away out of this life March 27, 1874. To this union was born one son, Clement, who passed away September 17, 1898. She leaves to mourn one brother, Louis Green of Etna, her daughter -in-law, Mrs. Ida Rhoads, six nieces, 5 nephews, a host of relatives and friends. When but fifteen years of age the deceased gave her heart to Christ and in 1852, joined what was then called the Houser United Brethern Church, which name was changed in 1866 to Trinity United Brethern Church. The church regrets very much the loss of this dear friend, for it marks the passing of our oldest member. For seventy two years she has been a faithful pillar in the church. Her life was constantly devoted to the church and the cause of Christ. She was a diligent student of God's word and a living testimony to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Her daily tasks were never begun until on bended knee she had sought divine guidence and strength from her loving Savior. Her last sickness was of short duration, lasting about three weeks. Through it all she was uncomplaining, bearing it all without a murmur. On her bed of affliction, her comforting message to her friends was that she was ready to go. Her parting words to those who were at her bedside were, 'I want to go home to meet Benny'. "
