FOOTE - Doris Cook at John Tickell's forge.

1984: At the site of the Blacksmith’s Forge operated at Mary Tavy by John Hingston Tickell. He married Susanna Vigars in Tavistock 3.7.1852. Their daughter Eliza Harriet Tickell married Barton John Thomas Foote snr - they were Doris Foote’s grandparents. Eliza was known as Grandma TICKLE, a common spelling of the name.
