IRENE STARKEY

Irene Starkey 510 E. Broadway St., Sweetwater, died at 10:30 Saturday at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Rev. Max Smiley of Broadway Baptist Church officiating. Graveside services will be at 3p.m. Monday at East Lawn Park in Brownwood.
She was born in San Antonio and married Benton Russell Starkey there Nov. 23, 1922. He died May 8, 1977. She was a housewife and resided in Sweetwater 56 years. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs.M.C.(Maude) Nance of Dallas and Mrs. Cleo McGlothlin of Dallas and Mrs. Lillian Wilcox of Houston; three neices, Kathleen Clark and Barbara Cope both of Dallas and Betty Campbell of Houston, Tx.
