Mr. Young B. Heathcock was born June 22, 1872 in DeWitt county, the son of Asa and Betty Heathcock, and passed away at his home on March 20, 1948 at the age of 75 years.

Mr. Heathcock is an old resident of this vicinity, having first moved here 40 years ago and having lived here consecutively the past twenty years. He was a good father, husband and citizen.
