Brown,E.P. Elsie Pauline Wilke Brown went to rest in the arms of her Lord Jesus on February 6, 2001 at the age of 91 years. She was born October 15, 1909 in Gonzales County, Tx. She was loved by all whose lives she touched. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her church family; cooking her many meals for family and friends. She served her Lord well as a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was a source of love and an example of faith and in death was still teaching with grace and dignity. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy O. Brown; her daughters, Madalyn Walden, Minnie Mae Schroder; 13 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Carpenter of Spring Branch and Barbara Richardson of Kerrville; grandchildren, Julie Carpenter of Dallas, Lana and Bret Buttner of Kerrville, Bethany Richardson of San Francisco, Forrest Richardson of Sisterdale; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Hunter Buttner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services visitation will held from 6:00-9:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 9, 2001 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2302 S. Presa at Roseborough, with Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South. The family wishes to express special thanks to Pastor Carlos and Pastor Gerald, Miss Minnie, Loraine, Muriel, dear James and the nurses at Regent Care Center for their kindness during her last years...God Bless. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church Organ Fund. Arrangements with: Mission Park South.
