6. WILLIAM2 MAHER (EDWARD1) was born Abt. 1825 in Ireland, and died February 20, 1876 in Montreal, Quebec, at the age of 51. He married ANNE FITZPATRICK February 07, 1843 in St. Gabriel de Valcartier performed by Father Griffith, daughter of CHARLES FITZPATRICK and PHOEBE BETHEL. She was born Abt. 1817 in Ireland, and died September 18, 1868 in St. Gabriel de Valcartier, Quebec, at the age of 51.

Notes for WILLIAM MAHER:
This family does not appear on the 1861 census for St. Gabriel de Valcartier, but the death record for his spouse Anne Fitzpatrick indicates William as a Carter of St. Roch, Quebec.. and at the time of his death it was recorded that he was a resident of Montreal, Quebec.
