      107. Magdalena Kemper, born November 21, 1770 in Lancaster co; died February 07, 1847. She was the daughter of 214. David Kemper and 215. Maria Elizabeth Stump.

Notes for Ephraim Royer:
It is reported that these Royer's were rich. At the time of the Mexican War, they owned a valuable farm and money besides. During the inflatin following the war, they purchased a second farm at a large price and went into debt. When the panic came they lost everything. Their children were all grown, but only one of them was rich, a daughter married a wealthy man, when the old folks died, the rich son-in-law was reported to have said that they are not worth a gravestone.

One of their daughters, Sophie, died an old maid and another was married to John bitzer. One was married to John Hartzel, and one was married to Hickert. One of the sons was David Royer who lived in Ohio. There was another son whose name I do not recall.
