I have an unfortunate addition to our family tree. My father passed away on 8/12/01. My Mother had a memorial service on his birthday 9/10/01. My Dad's Alzheimer had started to effect him to the point where my Mom could no longer care for him. He entered into a nursing home 7/1/01 and ultimately died from acute myocardial infarction which was basically from complications from his disease.

My Dad's sister Adele flew in from ElpasoTexas where she is currently residing - her plane was supposed to leave Grand Rapids on 9/11/01 aprox 10:00 but due to the plane crashes she was held up for a few days. Hope your family is doing well.

CREMERING, LAWRENCE E. Age 70 of Canadian Lakes, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2001. He was born September 10, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Benjamin and Florence Cremering. Larry was honorably discharged from the United States Navy Air Corps, serving during the Korean War. He was a CPA, making his home in the Detroit area until retiring to Canadian Lakes 10 years ago. Larry was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Parish in Remus. He is survived by: His wife Pat Cremering of Canadian Lakes; 6 Children: Cathy (Wally) Kiehler of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mary Ann (Don) Grundman of Shelby Township, Mike (Debbie) Cremering of Farmington Hills, Julie Laufer of East Grand Rapids, Jim (Rita) Cremering and John (Karen) Cremering all of Walled Lake; 2 Sisters: Sister Mary Jerome Cremering and Sister Florence Cremering both of Cincinnati, Ohio and 11 Grandchildren. A memorial service is being planned for 2 p.m. Monday, September 10th at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes may be obtained at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home , Big Rapids where arrangements were made.
