Obituary of Samuel H. Blankenship - Fort Mill Times - Wednesday, June 5, 1901. Sudden death of Samuel Blankenship at his home, Harrison Section, NC, Sunday morning. Son-in-law is Mr. A. B. Bailes. 75 years of age. Buried at Flint Hill. Surviving are 7 children: Mrs. S.H. Epps, Mrs. Sam Bailes, Jr. [sic] (incorrect - delete Mrs. Sam Bailes, Jr.), Mrs. A.B. Bailes, Mrs. J.B.
