(PETHOUS)², THOMAS¹) was born May 1664 in Essex Old Rappahannock, Va, and died May 17, 1720 in So Farnham Parish, Essex Co, Virginia. He married RACHEL WILSON 1683. She was born Abt. 1670 in prob King & Queen Co, Va, and died WFT Est. 1687-1764 in Essex Virginia.

      His grandfather provided for him since he was born after his fathers death. On 4/1/1685 he is mentioned in a conveyence by Major George Morris where the Major gave him half interest in 1600 acres of land in Rappahannoch Co, Va. His mother also made a gift to him which showed that he was born shortly after his father's death.
      After his marriage to Rachel Wilson, they resided in James City County and King and Queen County, Va. He was a Captain in the Virginia County Militia (Dragoons). He is listed as an officer in King and Queen County on 6/12/1707.
