He married (2) ANNE (Source: Abernathy in 6-01.ged, Date of Import: Jun 6, 2001.) 1712. She was born Abt. 1690, and died October 1752 in Brunswick County, Virginia, St. Andrew Parish.

Purchased land in Brunswick Co., VA in 1732. His will, dated March 26, 1736 and probated May 7, 1743, list James (born 1723) as a son along with other children.[Abernathy in 6-01.ged]

Will of John Nipper In the name of God, Amen, this Twenty-six day of March in the year of our Lord God, One thousand seven hundred
thirty-six, I, John Nipper, Senr, of the Parish of St. Andrews in the County of Brunswick, planter, being very sick and weak in body but of
perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God therefor, and calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed
for all men once to die and after Death for judgement do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say principally and first of
all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like
form and decent manner at the direction of my executor. Nothing ensouling but I shall receive the same again at the General Resurrection by the
mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to inform me in this life, I give, devise and dispose in
the following manner and form. IMPRIMIS; I give and bequeath unto Anne, my true and lawful wife, my now dwelling plantation together with
all my moveable Estate, real and personal, excepted only which I have mentioned by word of mouth should be amongst the children not only
may be given out as legacies and the content or quantity of land with the plantation is from the great hollow poplar commonly called the Pigg
pen popular and so down the fork and all the land below to go with the plantation. ITEM. I give and bequeath the upper part of the said tract
of land to be equally divided between my son James Nipper and John Platt. ITEM. I give and bequeath all of the land mentioned in the patent
of the tract of land whereon my son John Nipper, Junior lives except that part that is made over in Court to my son-in-law William Jenkins.
ITEM. I give unto my son John Nipper, Junior one Shilling Sterling to the extent he may have no more right to any other part of my Estate and I
do hereby disallow, Revoak (sic), and disannul all and every other form of Testament, Wills and Legacies and Bequest by me in anywise before
this same, willed and bequeathed, rightifieing and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have
here unto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

24 Oct 1752 - John (M) Nipper, Executor of Ann (A) Nipper, deceased, presented her Will in Court. It being proved by the Oaths of
Dorothy Robertson and Mary Bracey, witnessed thereto, a Certificate of Probate of the Estate was granted to John (M) Nipper. He having,
with Daniel Carrell, his security, entered into Bond in the amount of 500 pounds. Ann's Will listed the following individuals: sons, Alexander;
John; and James; son-in-laws, Richard Rottenberry, husband of daughter Martha; Thomas Westmoreland, husband of daughter Edith; William
Jenkins, husband of Anne; and neighbor Randall Bracey. (Ref: Will Book No. 3, page 83, Brunswick County.)
