5. JOHN M.4 NIPPER III (JOHN3, JOHN2, JAMES1) was born Abt. 1712 in Brunswick County, Virginia, and died June 13, 1791 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. He married MARTHA ANNA ROTTENBERRY, daughter of HENRY ROTTENBERRY and MARGARET. She was born October 01, 1720 in Brunswick County, Virginia, and died Abt. 1799 in Brunswick County, Virginia.

John (M) Nipper's will leaves his property to his wife Anna and "all my children", but only names his son-in-law Cornelius Matthews and John
Griffice. The will was proved in 1791 and "further proved in 1807." Executors were his wife Anna and the two son-in-law. The 1807 date is
most probably the date of proof on the death of Anna and was the final return. Inferred in the Will is that the property was to be Anna's during
her lifetime or widowhood, then pass to the children. Each child gave receipts to the executors for their share of the property.
