Flora Isabella Cunningham (daughter of Hose Walter Cunningham and Linda Elizabeth Underwood) was born November 23, 1907 in Greenback, TN, and died January 1, 2002 in Knoxville, TN.

"Aunt Flo as Flora was commonly known to so many in her generation was never married, but Delores Yvonne Cunningham was her daughter born March 25, 1943. Aunt Flo had told her niece Wilma Jean Cunningham that Delores' father was a man called "Diddle" Viles but she was never married to him.

Aunt Flo also had a boyfriend by the name of Luke who was a soldier in World War II who saw her and also sent her gifts, but she never married him or wanted anything to do with any men in as far as anyone knows, it may have been since she had a bad relationship with this "Diddle Viles that she was burned out on men other than Luke her unknown boyfriend. It was rumored through her niece Wilma Jean Cunningham also that Luke wanted to marry her and move her away, but Aunt Flo was not willing to do that and she stayed and worked sometimes in the wool mills in Knoxville in and around what was called the wool mill corner area of 17th st and Grand Ave area and also worked at a place called "The Winter Garden" which was on Broadway close top Fulton High School in the 50's and then later at a restaurant on Kingston Pike called The Toddle House. At the Toddle House she worked in the commisary division or kitchen area behind the restaurant which was out front facing Kingston Pike between approx. 20th st and 21st St she prepared foods for other Toddle House Restaurants in Knoxville in this commissary on Kingston Pike . It was well known that she carried home abotu a lb of round ham about two or three times weekly and kept her Mother Linda Elizabeth Cunningham, her sister Minnie Rosalee Cunningham (SLoan) and others up literally by working and caring for the family who lived at 106 16th st from about 1950 until moving about 1955 or so to 102 16th st and there her Mother known to all as Grandma Cunningham lived until her death in September 1963 or 1964.

Then Aunt Flo and her sister Minnie Rosalee Sloan moved about 1965 to ___ Union St. in downtown Knoxville, TN in an apartment until about 1975 and then moved to an apartment on Seveir Ave. Flora lived there until approx. Jan 2001 and she then moved into a house provided by her grandson Gregory Scott McCarter off of Seveir Ave on
