McCOY, HAZEL LEE BERRIER-age 73 of Knoxville, went home to be with her LORD on Wednesday March 23, 2005 at her home. She was a member of Dutch Valley Baptist Church and of The Veterans Gold Star Wives club. Preceded in death by her parents Uliss Berrier and Ocie Vess Berrier, husband James Lester McCoy, sisters Lucy Berrier Fuji, Ida Berrier Jennings, and Lillian Berrier Branam AKA Duck; brothers Clifford Berrier and Elmer (AKA Hobo) and Grandson Dustin Paul Cunningham. She is survived by her loving children Carolyn Sue McCoy Cunningham and husband Jerry Lennis Cunningham, Sr., Stephen Price McCoy and wife Mary Virginia Daugherty McCoy, Larry Wayne McCoy and wife Debbie Rader McCoy,Bart McCoy and wife Tonda McCoy, Bradley McCoy, and Lee Ann McCoy Capps Hayes and husband David Hayes. She leaves also 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren; One sister Katherine Berrier Cody and a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and special friends, also a special cousin Clara McFall. The family wishes to thank St. Mary's Medical Center Hospice Group and her very special friend and personal physician Dr. John Burkhart and his nurse Sandra Loy.Memorial donations may be made to the youth ministries of Dutch Valley Baptist Church Knoxville, TN 37917. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM in the chapel of Highland South Cemetery on Chapman Highway Knoxville, TN 37920 on Friday March 25, 2005 with her son; The Rev. Bradley McCoy and her Pastor and grandson Rev. Dennis Wayne McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Highland South Memorial Park beside her husband James Lester McCoy with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2005 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Highland South Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations (865) 573-7300
