Includes NotesNotes for Kenneth Michael Perryman, Sr.:
Kenneth Michael Perryman was the name his mother Minnie Rosalee Cunningham Sloan gave her son as she told her nephew Jerry Lennis Cunningham, Sr that his father was her husband Kenneth Sloan who was from Memphis TN. It was known that Kenneth's parents in Memphis were attempting to take Kenneth Michael from Minnie and she lied and when he was born told the hospital his father was a boyfriend she had named Harold Perryman and so Kenneth Michael Sloan was officially named Kenneth Michael Perryman to disrupt this process of attempting to take her son from her. Minnie had previously lost a son on or around 1940 or 1041 whose name was Donnie who died.

Mike as he was known had been in trouble with the law in Knoxville numerous times and had been in prison in Tennessee for some very serious crimes, one being Murder where he supposedly got into a fight with a black man at a tavern called Bill's Tavern which was on 17th st between Ailor Ave and Western Ave. A fight had erupted which was a somewhat usuual occurence where Mike went, it was well known that Mike loved to fight and he had gotten into a fight supposedly at this tavern with a young black man about 25 yrs old around 1970- 1975 time period and whipped the black man and he lived nearby and went home and the black mans father came back over to the tavern looking for Mike and pulled a pistol on him and Mike took a sawed off shotgun from the trunk of his own car and shot this black man's father and even hauled his body away in the trunk of his car and dumped it off somewhere in Cumberland County. One of Mike's supposed buddies who was there was named Jimmy Ball who was a witness to this event. Mike was charged with this crime and sentenced to jail for it. He had been in some other trouble with police also and was going to stand trial around 1978 or 1979 for what was to be his last trial for he would be convicted for what is known as 3 strikes and you're out or gone for life to never be released from prison. around Jan 1980 Mike was awaiting trial for this third time and was out on the streets and was seen dealing in drugs and was said to have had a suitcase full of drugs and at least $5000 in cash and was found dead at the Twilite Zone Mobile Home Park on Clinton Highway just across the Knox County line in Anderson County and the death was ruled an accident and a drug overdose officially. He was taken to Methodist Hospital in Oak Ridge as the death was officially in Anderson County. as of 2001 no other evidence has ever been found to disprove this, Mike also remarried a woman named Patty who is his surviving widow.

2/1/2001 Patty Perryman came to Cunningham Window Co. and Jerry Cunningham, Sr recognized her and repaired a glass for her. She lives at Joe Lewis Rd Knoxville, TN 37920 off Maryville Pike
