Obituary Ball, Solomon Samuel, 74, of 2135 Island Home Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37920, a retired policeman and later a TVA Security Guard, died today March 7, 1977 at Baptist Hospital, Knoxville, TN. Mr. Ball also was a county deputy and served under several sheriffs during the 1930's and 1940's. He later was a bondsman also. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Wanda Sanford Ball; stepson, Hite J. Sanford; stepdaughters, Mrs Carole Ensley, Mrs. brenda Guess; Four Grandchildren; and a Brother Joshua Hershell Ball, all of Knoxville, TN Services will be at 2:30pm Wednesday March 9, 1977 at Berry's Funeral Home Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery Woodlawn Pike Knoxville, TN 37920. Friends may call at their convenience.
