My name is Richard Curtis. I am researching the history of my wife Margaret's family, whose maiden name is Bond. M's father James is from Mellor, near Blackburn, Lancashire, England. His father, also James, was born in Walsall. James's father Joseph was a Saddler before joining the Lancashire Police Force in May 1892.

We know that Joseph's parents are James Joseph and Lucy Thomas, and that he had a brother Benjamin and two sisters: Martha Ellen married Walter Kirby and emigrated to the USA; we know nothing about Sarah. Benjamin married twice. We have visited a daughter by the second marriage, Brenda, in Walsall. Brenda had a sister Mary and a brother Alf, lately deceased. There were 4 boys by Benjamin's first marriage.

I am looking for any siblings of James Joseph and his parents, and any information about Joseph's daughter Sarah.
